fathers day

yesterday was fathers day, and also my 2nd full day of bachlorhood...loving it, would have kinda liked a phone call or something to aknowledge that i was someones father, but thats ok, i saw my son, he forgot, but asked to borrow money, so i lent him 50, he is doing well, working 2 jobs one at little cesars pizza, and the other is 3rd shift in training at panera bread company, he will be head baker at the mentor ohio store.......

had invited a REALLY nice guy to go with me to cleveland pride saturday, at last minute he couldn't go, bummer, decided was not going to go, but at last minute went anyways...what a hoot, it was great being in the element that i want to belong with, was nice to see guys walking hand in hand with other guys, but was just different for me, i suppose if i had someonethere with me would be different but won't go alone again, i did get the hrc bumper sticker you know the blue one with the 2 yellow lines, not on the car yet but guess when i do thats a public statement..anyways hope all your weekends were great

I managed to go to Gay Pride as well. It is nice to see guys holding hands, isn't it?

hrc sticker = an equal sign, not necessarily a statement of who you are as much as what you are for!

We have one on each car.

We also have rainbow strips to let people know we are family...

I went to my first pride event alone as well. It made me feel like an outsider. I may go alone again, but I'll know what to expect.

The blue and yellow bumper stick is for ALL human rights....equal sign for equal rights for every person on the face of the earth. As much as it may tend to be slanted toward the gay community, I do my best to think of it in global/broad terms. When someone asks me, I never use the word "gay" in my answer. I think everyone should have one of these....worldwide. I've got a tattoo of one on my right calf.
