my last night

tonight, friday night i am busy packing, loading clothes, damn i never knew i had so many...and shoes...damn...should have known all along....clothes horse and 2 big boxes of shoes...oh well.the dishes are packed, the china already moved, she left so much, but took also, oh well i am tonight spending the last night in my home, the home i was born in, spent my entire childhood, watches as i grew up my parents scraping and skimping to keep the house nice and updated, and tommarow morning at 8 a truck arrives to move me out...never to sleep here again, never to walk through these rooms with memories of family christmas time, kids birthday parties, i watched my mother pass away in the livingroom, but, tommarow i start over in a new home, a great home, and realize that i can never look back, only forward, the memories i will always have and that this is nothing more than a building of wood and glass, so fellow gay travelers keep me in your thoughts tommarow as i relocate and hoist the rainbow flag on a new neighborhood...hehehe

Thinking back a few years ago, did you ever think you would be embarking on this new adventure? You have made it, and I could not be more happy for you. Remember, no one can take any of your memories away, they will always be with you no matter where home is, but now it is time to make some new ones. ((((HUGS, my friend))))

It's the biggest break of all and I'll never forgot how awful it felt having to carry out decorating touches to the house improve its sellability. I likened it to putting lipstick on a corpse. Wretched wretched wretched!

Is it all worth it? Don't even ask the question. It simply has to be got through ... and you and your family will make it.

Believe you will. God's speed!

Memories are locked away in your heart to bring out when needed.

You'll be creating new memories now, ones that in many ways will be more significant to you.

Good luck with the move and don't be suce a stranger on your blog.....naughty naughty

Let the mourning happen. And keep moving. As Churchill said, "If you find yourself going through hell, keep going."

I know it must be difficult, giving up so much. But the burden you'll be laying down may be worth quite a bit, as well.

Memories can't be taken away, the good memories take over the bad.

Wishing you a new bright future, in a new house, a new life with new memories.

Wishing you all the best in your next step towards a gay life. Still I can understand the ache of leaving behind a place that brought you so many memories. In a way it will be like saying good bye to everyone all over again so *hugs* buddy!

Having said many good-byes and having left many memories behind in my lifetime, I can empathize. But you'll make a success of it and do very well. All best wishes for you as you begin a new chapter. Please keep blogging.
