she' gone

hey there buddies...well she and my daughter moved out this weekend, and while the quiet and freedom are awesome, it is a little sad walking through the house and seeing my daughters room that is now empty, lots of stuff missing off walls and now there are spackle patches where pictures one hung, but in now less than 2 weeks i will be in my new home also, fresh start, new beginnings and bla bla bla.......so any hooooo, will go for now but just wanted to update y'all, been lousy at posting lately

Your blog post title is the exact same one I used a week or two ago when we sold our house..."She's Gone." Our selling is bittersweet too. Keep on the road and journey....

Congrats on the new place! I'm sure you'll feel completely free once you're there.

There will be mourning to do. let it happen.

And there will be celebrating, too. let that happen as well!

don't fudge on the feelings, big guy. It's all part of the roller coaster.

But oh the fun

Hey Dave -- give me a call later. I dropped my phone in the toilet (go ahead, laugh and make the approrpriate comments) - but I lost your number -- so give me a call when you get a chance...Would love to hear from you...Shel

I'm new around these parts. In surfing for interesting blogs to read, I came across yours. Just wow. I love the title ... I stayed in the house after the ex-wife left ... but kept the kids' rooms intact. But you're getting a new place in a new city ... oh what fun! Congrats!

The two weeks are almost here. I hope the "down in the dumps" feeling has since subsided and that you're looking forward to these new beginnings. Here's to the new you!
